  1. Pilgrim goose eggs are reportedly quite difficult to incubate and prone to late shell death, so we can’t count our goslings before their hatched, as the saying goes. But it’s a relief to know that the eggs are at least fertile!

  2. I thought such good news would bring congratulations from all over the world. It is good to have a happy ending once in a while. Not that she was fully aware, but Abigail must be relieved at the outcome.
