Since the American main stream media seems to be under-reporting this rather significant news story out of France this morning, I think bloggers should pick up the slack:
Two knife-wielding attackers who had pledged allegiance to ISIS, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” slit the throat of an 84-year-old priest and critically wounded at least one other person during a Tuesday morning terror attack on a Catholic church near the Normandy city of Rouen, officials said.
“84YO priest survived the NAZI invasion, occupation of France and subsequent allied invasion. Only to be killed in an undeclared war #Normandy”

Here’s a thought: maybe the West could stop meddling in Muslim affairs in the Middle East, toppling governments and starting wars. Then there would be no need to import millions of unassimilable refugees. It’s a crazy plan, I know, but it just might work.

There might be a point in avoiding getting involved in the Middle East, but keep in mind that Islam has been invading Europe since at least 711 AD, longer if you count the wars of the Persian caliphs on the Ottoman Empire. Ask the Filipinos, Thais, Malaysians, and Chinese if a U.S. invasion is necessary for radical Islam to cause problems. It is not.

So, it has come to murdering elderly priests in the streets? I think that the patience of the French was surpassed a while ago. Three things are likely to happen. First, Marie le Pen’s party will be elected. Second, Frexit will become a reality. Third, the French will make common cause with Russia to defeat ISIS.

I hadn’t read the link before responding and hadn’t known that he was killed in church while celebrating Mass. I think that even the most rabid Muslim cleric would have to admit that this is unforgivable. Perhaps Pope Francis should dust off Pope Urban II’s call for a crusade.

Let’s try this instead:
Europe’s timeline of terror:
711 AD: Moors invade Spain
732 AD: greatest advance into France repelled at Battle of Tours by Charles Martel.
711-present; actions to invade Europe by various caliphates.
Sorry, our meddling is not the cause here.

We may be close to the general population realizing that government is not about to restrain these people. That the rule of law is only there to restrain the natives. That the trust the people place is government is misplaced. None of this is good.

It’s a day later. Has this outrage been swept under the rug by the media? These things will continue to happen as long as responsibility does not extend to the community that perpetrates them. These crazies do this on behalf of their community knowing that, once they are dead, that is where the retribution stops.

Someone has finally drawn a line with terrorists. Curiously, they are also listed as terrorists.

The one thing that is not mentioned in relation to all this immigration that results in violence is the need for it, the immigration. With childbirth rates falling through the floor, governments are worried about demographic winter, shrinking populations. If birth rates weren’t below replacement, by a lot, they would be sending relief supplies to tent cities in the Middle East.

The media are characteristically awful as always. In case you missed it, the suicide bombing in Germany that thankfully only killed the bomber was explained by BBC as “Syrian refugee killed in blast”
Unbelievable and yet… totally believable.
