For love-miserly feminists, not even one day can be set aside to praise and appreciate men for anything.
My favorite part is that she responds to all the criticism with a baffled “But I was praising men!”
If that’s praise, who needs to be kicked in the teeth?
I am glad that you picked this up. Farm Boy linked the first tweet at my usual haunt and it was enough to make me comment that Father’s Day should just be done away with. It only provokes feminists into more than the usual man bashing.

By the way, that wasn’t a back handed compliment or a “neg” on Anne-Marie Slaughter’s part. It was undeniably an insult.
It is curious how feminists try to deny the undeniable. For instance that Australian legislator that tried to deny accusing another legislator of “mansplaining”.
Do you think that someone forgot to tell her that Julia Guillard is not the Pime Minister any more?

“As competent as mothers in the office” she does say.
But are they?

Yoda,
How apt! However, you should have left that analogy for Farm Boy.
Qt present, there is no downside to man bashing. It’s like men are varmints and the season is open year round. If it ever turns around, it will be because women will be sorry. That is a scary thought.
