Stepping out to watch the moon set early this morning while I sipped my coffee, I heard the eerie sound of a coyote’s howl echo through the trees. I waited while the mist over the pond began to turn pink as the sun came up and the coyote fell silent. A few moments later, my neighbor’s rooster began his cheerful morning crowing.
For His anger is but for a moment,
and His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.
